Meet our teaching staff

Mrs Loomes

Mrs Loomes is the Headteacher who is responsible for teaching and learning; assessment; Music; MfL, English and a number of other subjects. She is very passionate about STEM subjects and enjoys providing cover throughout the school.

Ash Class (YR and Y1)

Miss Smith

Miss Smith is the Class Teacher who also leads Religious Education throughout the school. Miss Smith is also the mentor for Early Careers Teachers.

Mrs Lusty

Mrs Lusty is the Teaching Assistant in Ash Class who loves working with the youngest members of our school community and getting them used to being at school.

Beech Class (Y1 and Y2)

Mrs Holmes

Mrs Holmes shares the Class Teacher role with Mrs Jordan. Mrs Holmes teaches Beech class from Monday to Wednesday. Mrs Holmes is also our SENCO with the nationally recognised award for SENCo.

Mrs Jordan

Mrs Jordan shares the Class Teacher role with Mrs Holmes. Mrs Jordan teaches Beech class on Thursdays and Fridays. Mrs Jordan is also the Phonics and Early Reading lead, as well as leading KS1 English.

Mrs Wilkins

Mrs. Wilkins, Teaching Assistant, works in Beech supporting the class teachers as well as being a midday supervisor. Mrs Wilkins is also a trained Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) who supports the emotional wellbeing of our pupils.

Hawthorn Class (Y3 and Y4)

Mrs Pickering

Mrs Pickering teaches our Year 3 and Year 4 children in Hawthorn Class - welcoming the children to KS2. Mrs Pickering leads Maths and Computing throughout the school.

Mrs Pickering is also our interim Curriculum and Learning Lead.

Mrs Boulton

Mrs Boulton is the Teaching Assistant in Hawthorn Class. Mrs Boulton is also a trained Emotional Literay Support Assistant (ELSA) who provides emotional and social skills to our children.

Mrs Martin

Mrs Martin is a very experienced teaching assistant who supports different children throughout the class.

Juniper Class (Y4 and Y5)

Miss Lord

Miss Lord teaches our Year 4 and Year 5 children in Juniper Class. She loves making learning fun!

Miss Lord is also supporting Mrs Loomes with English in KS2.

Mrs Adams

Mrs Adams is a higher-level teaching assistant providing support in class, some 1:1 support and some PPA cover.

Mrs Adams is passionate about learning outdoors and is a qualified Forest School Leader. She plans and delivers Forest School sessions alongside Mrs Boulton.

Willow Class (Y6)

Mrs Hubble

Mrs Hubble is the Class Teacher for Year 6. She teaches Monday to Thursday and is the Science lead for the school. Mrs Hubble is also brilliant with computers - there is very little she doesn't know!

Mrs Banks

Mrs Banks teaches Year 6 on Fridays. Mrs Banks is our subject lead for History and Geography, helping all of the class teachers with their knowledge in these subjects.
