Village community – our school has a unique place in the village, directly opposite our parish church. We support our village community by:

• Working closely with our parish council to improve facilities for children in the village. We helped design and build the new facilities down on the bike track; we have also supported the re-establishing of the football field for the village community.
• We provide a space and facilities for the village to use – Brownies and Guides take place in our school hall whilst breakfast and after school clubs also are held on our site. We rent out our school space so that the village can benefit from dance, language lessons and church courses.
• Commemorating village events – we planted a lavender bed to commemorate those lost to Covid, we created a display of remembrance and have helped offer sanctuary to the village community of toads on our land.
• Our eco-council frequently litter pick around the village.
• Our local PCSO works with us regularly to teach our children how to respect our local village and how best to help others.
