We are proud to support our children in understanding their place in our democracy and our curriculum ensures that they understand why people come to the UK, the benefits our country offers and the way that our governance works.  We also ensure that our community understands the roles they can play in wider society through:

• Enabling children to take part in Rotary activities such as photography and writing competitions; ROTAkids which has worked to support those less fortunate in both the UK and abroad;
• Supporting national charity initiatives including Children in Need, World Book Day and Gloucestershire bundles with regular fundraising activities.
• Celebrating the Platinum Jubilee and Coronation of King Charles through whole school activities whilst understanding the historical significance of the events.
• Encouraging children to take place in activities with other schools such as the Stroud Country Dancing Festival and Young Voices –a platform to inspire teamwork, artistic rexpression and a lifelong love for music.
