Our school is blessed to have such a vibrant, caring and engaged church community just across the road from us.  

The majority of our governing body (our Foundation Governors) are members of St. Mary's Church and they work hard with our staff and pupils to do the best for our school.  They organise meetings to make important decisions about school improvement and they visit lessons and collective worships.  

The church community love to hear more about life in school and we share our newsletters in a folder at the back of church. 

Ali, one of our governors, looks after a fabulous display board at the back of church.  On this, she shares news, photographs and artwork to show what has been happening.  This is a lovely celebration of life in Woodchester and our families also enjoy looking at it when they visit Messy Church or the whole school services in church.
