Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) Report

All Church Schools are inspected regularly by the Church of England to explore whether the school is living up to its theologically rooted Christian vision and foundation as a Church School.  This inspection is undertaken by trained inspectors who spend time meeting key stakeholders including pupils, staff, parents and governors; observing lessons playtimes and collective worship; and discuss pupil and adult wellbeing.

February 2025 SIAMS inspection

Woodchester was inspected on 12th February 2025 under the SIAMS framework.

We are delighted to share that this SIAMS report demonstrates our vision of ‘Love, learn and flourish together’ is embedded within all that we do here at Woodchester; ensuring that all pupils and adults are supported to flourish.  We are incredibly proud of our school community for achieving such glowing feedback.  The highlight in the report for us is that the Inspector noticed the confidence which our pupils have to ‘express personal views of injustice and their responsibility to the world around them.’
