Key Stage 2 - Progress
A progress measure has been given for each individual subject in KS2 however no overall progress measure is given for a school. We have been advised that for most schools the score will be in the range of -5 to 5, with 0 being the expected score. Any minus number represents lower than expected progress whilst positive numbers represent better than expected progress. For example, if a progress score is 3.1, it would represent that the school, on average, that the children within that school score 3.1 points higher on the average scaled score, than is expected.
