Online Safety - Help for parents/carers
Navigating the internet whilst trying to keep your children safe can be tricky sometimes for parents. Here at Woodchester, we work in partnership with the Knowsley City Learning Centre to ensure that our parents, staff and Governors have the latest up to date information. The 2024 Parental Control booklet is below and provides guidance on some of the most recent app changes as well as the age ratings for different apps.
As part of our Computing curriculum, our children are taught how to use the internet safely and responsibly; how to respond if someone asks for their information and how to ask a grown up for help. Each February, we celebrate World Internet Safety Day and remind ourselves of some of the modern challenges in this digital world.
