Statutory Admission Policy Consultation

Woodchester Endowed Church of England Primary School

 

The Governing Body of Woodchester Endowed Church of England Primary School is consulting on the school’s admission arrangements for September 2027.

 

The School Admission Code 2021 states that schools must fully consult with all interested parties every seven years on their admission arrangements.  We are therefore carrying out this consultation process for our draft 2027 Admissions Policy, a copy of which is attached to this letter and can also found on our school website – http://www.woodchester.gloucs.sch.uk.  Please note that we are not making any changes to our intake number or admission criteria. 

 

The consultation begins at 6pm on Monday 6th October and will run for six weeks, ending at 6pm on Monday 17th November at 6pm.

 

Anyone wishing to comment on the School’s proposed Admissions Policy for 2027 should contact Mrs Anne Brencher, the Clerk to the Governors, via email: clerk@woodchester.gloucs.sch.uk or by letter to Woodchester Endowed Church of England Primary School.

 

The consultation process completed by Woodchester Endowed CE Primary School is as follows:

• Notification to Gloucestershire County Council
• Notification to the Diocese
• Notification to all parents, carers and guardians of Woodchester Endowed CE Primary School
• Publication on the school’s website
• Distribution to primary schools in Gloucestershire

All recipients of the consultation will be welcome to respond and we look forward to hearing your views on the proposal.
