Year 6 were inspired to become engineers of the future this week with the visit of the K’nex challenge and an engineer from local firm Renishaw.  As part of encouraging more children to continue with Science, Technology and Maths in later stages of education, the K’nex challenge comes to schools and tasks them with a real world problem to solve using K’nex.  After hearing about the work of Renishaw and some of their fantastic projects, it was time to build!
