At the beginning of the week, Hawthorn Class travelled to Stratford Park Leisure Centre to compete in the Year 3 and 4 Netball tournament.  Due to the low number of schools entering, we were able to take three teams ensuring all children in Hawthorn had the opportunity of representing our school.  Throughout the morning, the each child played a number of games, practising playing in different positions and developing their skills.  The intensity of the games ensured that all children made great progress.  In spite of playing against strong opposition, Hawthorn Class remained eager and enthusiastic and very supportive of one another. 

Well done, Hawthorn Class, for being great competitors and a joy to take.
