Harvest Service
On Wednesday 11th October, the whole school and a large number of parents came together to support our annual harvest service in St.Mary’s Church. Our wonderful house captains read Psalm 104— Praise to God who made the Earth—before each class shared their own harvest celebration.
We always have a lot of ‘thank yous’ to say after our service so hopefully we have included everyone! Thank you to all of our classes for such wonderful contributions to our service, particularly those who kept going when we suffered an IT glitch! You sang and recited your hearts out—we are all very proud of you. Thank you to Reverend Francis for your reflections and prayer. Thank you, as always, to our staff who have worked with the children to perfect their contributions. Thank you also to all of our wonderful volunteers who provided the tea and coffee before the service—what a lovely way to welcome our congregation.
Finally, a huge thank you to all those who made donations ahead of the service. Through your generosity, we were able to fill six crates at Stroud Foodbank which will be shared with members of our community who may need a little helping hand at this time.
