On Friday 7th October, the Year 1 children from Ash Class travelled to Archway School to take part in the Key Stage 1 Sportability Festival.  During the morning, they worked together to practise their rolling, catching, throwing, balancing and curling skills in a variety of different activities.  As they progressed through each activity, they earned points for their school.  I was so proud that with all their wonderful efforts and great teamwork they accumulated 4428 points!  We were one of the top scoring schools in spite of having the smallest team on the day. 

What an amazing achievement, boys and girls.  Mrs Gardner and myself had a fantastic morning because you were all great listeners and willing to have a go at everything.
