Early on a cold Friday morning, 20 children and a number of enthusiastic parents and grandparents brought their breakfast and their books – a copy of Twitch by M.G. Leonard to enjoy the inaugural breakfast with books event.  As part of the outreach programme of the Cheltenham Literature Festival, Mrs Loomes runs a book club for Year 5 and Year 6 children who can bring along their relatives to share a love of reading.   There was munching, laughing and reading as the we made our predictions about the book – looked for clues and read the first chapter.

We look forward to continuing our journey as we discuss themes about the book, learn more about the characters and work out who or what Twitch is.
