A WHOLE SCHOOL VISIT TO THE WILD PLACE PROJECT!

Way back at the start of the academic year, the PTA expressed a wish to send the whole school on a trip.  This would be a great opportunity to spend some fun time together particularly in light of the challenges of the last few years.  A trip was organised to the Wild Place Project at Bristol.

Thank goodness there were lots of shady areas such as Bear Wood as who would have anticipated we would go on the hottest day of the year!  With water bottles and sunhats at the ready we journeyed through Bear Wood, Madagascar, Benoue National Park and Gelada Rocks and met some amazing animals.  It was impossible to choose a favourite although the giraffes were hard to beat.

Throughout the trip, the children were buzzing with interest and wonder, eager to find out more about the amazing animals they came across.  The children were an absolute pleasure to be with and were wonderful ambassadors for our school.  We had lots of volunteers who offered their help.  Thank you to everyone who came along to support the staff and help the children enjoy their trip.

Thank you to Rachael and everyone connected with the PTA who decided on such a generous and kind gift for the school.

It was a fantastic day, thank you!

Sharing a special day together!
