Ash and Beech classes enjoyed a visit from Mrs Bull, one of our governors, who came in armed with lots of interesting information and fantastic photographs all about holidays in the past.  The children were entranced and thought carefully about the similarities between now and then.

Sally also enjoyed the occasion, ‘It was delightful to be with the children again and I very much enjoyed the chance to revisit my childhood with them. There was an impressive variety of interesting and thoughtful questions. They were all keen to share their holiday experiences, including the range of creatures they had caught in fishing nets.  They were also quick to pick up on the familiar and unfamiliar in my family photos and I think some of them may remember my grandfather's full body (and probably knitted) swimming costume for some time. ‘
