Whilst technology is no longer specifically referenced in the EYFS framework, there is no doubt that children starting school are more technologically aware than previous generations. We seek opportunities to experience technology and digital literacy through other areas of learning.  Children are able to mirror lessons taught to KS1 whilst also using technology to practise motor skills, communication and exploration. The use of programmes and applications such as Busy Things allows children to support areas of learning including playing and exploring; active learning; being willing to have a go and creative and critical thinking.
